Attractive and secure – one and the same in the Mars Pension Plan. The interest is compiled through a fixed percentage rate (secure) and the flexible component (attractive).
Protected against inflation
The flexible percentage rate is tied to changes in the consumer price index and the inflation rate. This is how we ensure that your provision is not eaten up over the years by inflation.
How the interest is determined
The fixed percentage rate is 2%. This is supplemented by the flexible component determined twice a year. The cut-off dates are 1 July and 1 January. The guidelines used for determining the flexible interest rate are developments in the consumer price index, published by the Federal Statistical Office.
